Just pop in for a chip butty on a walk along the beach, lovely staff, nice food and quick service. Wasn't too busy for the time of day (4pm) but its really popular so id suggest getting in before the rush.

Set out for some fresh air and a Fish and Chip lunch. There were three to choose from in the vicinity but opted for the ‘Almighty Cod’, well actually we went into the ‘Hidden Tap’ as we could get Almighty Cod food within the Hidden Tap. Service very friendly and when the food came we were pleasantly surprised. The food was cooked to a high quality and generous portions, at really good price. Very rarely am I beaten by a portion of fish and chips, but it was a close run thing. Would highly recommend a visit.

First time i have tried here. Great portion size but a little too greasy, maybe just a one off... Curry sauce was lovely and would have that again. Wasn't busy so didn't need to wait long. Service was great and would definitely give them another try.

Decent chippy, usually very busy, with a queue down the street. Luckily, it was a freezing cold night when I visited, the only people I ended up stuck behind were two food delivery guys. Huge choice, i went for sausage, chips and gravy, washed down with a cup of coffee. It was a good size portion and it was a nice cuppa.

Very disappointed as came here to eat in as was freezing out side however got turned away as I had a pram with baby and was told had to be 18 to come in Went over road to fish face allowed in and food there was lovely

If you're ever 'up north ' and want proper fish and chips, head down to Seaton Carew and pop in here for them. Lovely bubbly batter and massive portions at half the price they are where we live in Oxfordshire.

It was OK, nothing to shout about. I was a little disappointed with this place, The reviews looked good , and out side there are signs sat vest fish and chips in Scotland.... uuummm . It was OK, but I have had better . When I walked in stood at the counte, rather then being grated by one of the young ladies straight away , they seem to be chatting among them self's. Stood there for 3 minutes before one of them asked how they could help or what I'd like. I ordered 2 large plane jumbo sausages, cheesy chips. 3 sachets of sauce. The sausages were tasty and cooked fresh so had to wait a few minutes fir them to be cook . The cheesey chips, half cold and the cheap nasty cheese. The chops were that cold the cheese wouldn't melt. I don't normally like to say bad against a business , but I pad nearly £14 for this and just felt the service and my half cold chips with cheap cheese was disappointing. If your going to change that much for the chessey chips , you may want to to make sure they are hot , and not tasteless cheese. Thank you

My go to place when in Seaton. Always get the large sausage and its always crispy. Defo worth a visit. Portions are enough so youve got room for an ice cream afters aswell

Called in today got two medium sized haddock small chips curry and peas. The chips were awful half were just little crispy ends had either been blanched or refried peas were out of a tin. I think it came to about £23, a lot of money. The same in our local shop would have been just under £16, canny profit judging by the car parked outside
